All saddlebags and hornbags are made of smooth finish, top-grain, oil-tanned cowhide available in black or medium brown.  For an additional $30, however, they can be made out of vegetable-tanned cowhide in the following colors (see "Color Chart").  Please be sure to specify oil-tanned or vegetable-tanned and color preference when ordering.

Border Tooling:
     Any vegetable-tanned saddlebags or hornbags may be ordered with no tooling, fully tooled (call for quote), or with a tooled border.  (See "Border Samples") #1 through #5 are no extra charge; #6 through #14 are $25 extra for any saddlebag.  Floral stamps A-D are no extra charge.

Saddlebag
     Available in small, medium and large, these are made of tough supple oil-side leather.  The small is closest to the common-used saddlebags of the1870s.  The mid-sized bag is similar to the larger period bags.  The large size will handle almost as much as a suitcase.  Made with oil-tanned (utility) leather.
